Children's science fiction and fantasy literature, the lead character should be someone with you, the reader can easily identify, even if they have fabulous adventure. Similarly, the cast of secondary characters seem to be realistic. You can grotesque monsters, mythical animals, aliens with two heads and seven arms, robots or androids, but even if they are not human, yet in depth of character when they play more than a fleeting rolein history. Well-drawn characters, no matter what setting they may appear, are rarely forgotten and always popular with readers.
Of course, certain basic characters are very familiar to us, as the wicked witch or magician, the hero against his will, the exiled prince or princess, the wise counselor, the noble king, the loyal lieutenant, the consultant evil scientist forget that its marvelous inventions, and many others. However, should not the inhabitants of the fictional worldonly carbon copies of these occur frequently in the past. Nor should we seek only the characters double and personality that have been successful recently as Harry Potter for example. A major challenge for science fiction and fantasy author for children, as it is for those who write for young adults, and will ensure that their characters are much more cut-outs and empty cardboard blank, so that really come alive for the readers. This can certainly look highly problematic if the character in question is not even a man. However, they still seem to be as real as any other person, the work was ever created for a fiction, for both children and adults. You need a personality, aspects which we can identify and sympathize with us, likes and dislikes, mannerisms, quirks, and so on, all that clearly serve as individuals, even if not human.
