Chimamanda Adichie at Middlesex University in Dubai 7

As part of the inaugural EAIFL Education Day, a group of fifty students and faculty at Middlesex University Dubai enjoyed a fun interactive session with award-winning Chimamanda Adichie. Mariam Maude, a final year student, Communications & Media Studies gave a comprehensive introduction to the author of the survey. The Orange Prize engaged his audience with stories about her own journey as a writer of medical students to an internationally recognized name. He talked about whatinspired to write, the writing process and various aspects of his two novels, Purple Hibiscus and Half of a yellow so the audience was fascinated and impressed by her answers to their questions and took the opportunity to talk in person, during their books signed. www.mdx.ac
