Chimamanda Adichie Middlesex University in Dubai 8

As part of the inaugural EAIFL Education Day, a group of fifty students and faculty at Middlesex University Dubai enjoyed an interactive session with a lot of fun winning Chimamanda Adichie. Mariam Maude, student last year, Communication & Media Studies gave a comprehensive introduction to the author's visit. The Orange Prize engaged his audience with stories about his own journey as a writer of medical student to an internationally recognized name. He talked about whatinspired to write, the writing process and explore different aspects of his two novels, Purple Hibiscus and half yellow so the audience was fascinated and charmed by their answers to their questions and enjoyed the opportunity to speak personally, and his books signed. www.mdx.ac
